Movin Kiprotich (University of Kenya) participated in the Paleoarchaeological Fieldwork at Boomplas Cave project, which focuses on tracking dietary and technological changes across the Middle Stone Age to Later Stone Age (MSA-LSA) transition through the analysis of lithics and macrofaunal remains. Movin holds a BA in Archaeology with IT from Maseno University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of Nairobi. He is an incredibly talented young scholar with some fieldwork experience with the Koobi Fora field school. Movin is interested in learning more about Late Pleistocene lithic technologies and wants to pursue this topic for his PhD research.
