ASPR at the 2025 Society for East Asian Archaeology Conference

At the Society for East Asian Archaeology (https://seaa-web.org/) 10th International Conference in Aberdeen Scotland last week, hosted by Harvard Anthropology Department alum Prof. Joshua Wright (PhD ‘06), the American School of Prehistoric Research, Harvard Anthropology, and East Asian Archaeology more broadly was well represented. The photo shows the mid-conference tour trip to the site of Burghead on the North Coast and includes the following people from left to right: Christopher KIM (RSEA MA, ‘17), Yangjin PAK (Anthropology PhD, ’19), Katherin BRUNSON (Anthropology BA, ’08), SHEN Jie (RSEA MA, ’21), Rowan FLAD (Current Professor of Archaeology, Department of Anthropology), Joshua WRIGHT (Anthropology PhD, ’06), Allison MILLER (Art History PhD, ’11), and Hilde de WEERDT (EALC PhD, ’98). Also in attendance but not in the Photo were Roderick CAMPBELL (EALC / Anthropology Ad Hoc PhD, ’07), and Hitomi HONGO (Anthropology PhD, ’96), Yitzchak JAFFE (Anthropology PhD, ’16), and Max PRICE (Anthropology PhD, ’16).
